Mower Doc was started by Duane Smith, a former aircraft mechanic, in 2003. Mower Doc has grown from a one-man operation making house calls, to one of the largest multi-line dealers in the area. Mower Doc prides itself on its customer service—we know how important it is to be taken care of and to have someone you can trust.

Over time, our founder Duane Smith was able to perfect the service model and service delivery process for the Mower Doc brand. He also defined the marketing and business development models used to attract and generate interest in the services. Combining the development of the Mower Doc reputation and his time spent in the industry, Mr. Smith has well suited the brand for franchise expansion for the right candidates.
Why Our Franchise?
Our franchisees can expect support from the Mower Doc franchise management team. We will provide three weeks of initial training at our headquarters in Georgia before franchisees open for business. This training will be on operational, sales, and marketing techniques, as well as on the job training in customer service.
We will then come to our franchise partners to provide additional training at their new Mower Doc location. We will also provide periodic refresher training at our headquarters. Mower Doc will also provide operational support in business unit operations and maintenance, customer-service techniques, product ordering, suggested pricing guidelines and administrative procedures. We will also provide advertising and marketing support to help our franchisees garner new business.
