Homemade Italian Food!
Overview
The Russo family opened "Russo's Italian Restaurant" in the early age of 12 in 1978, after moving from New York to Texas. Russo's Italian Restaurant was a fine dining establishment that featured Russo family recipes passed down through generations, updated with a modern sensibility.

Anthony Russo is a first-generation Italian. Both parents immigrated from Sicily and Naples, to New York in 1962. From the early age of 12, Anthony spent plenty of time in the kitchen with his family and other influential Italian chefs, learning how to prepare that fine Italian house made lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, fresh hand made mozzarella cheese, Italian house dressing made with balsamic vinaigrette aged 12 years imported directly from Italy, using the finest ingredients to serve our guest and serves authentic premium New York-style pizza."

Additionals
His dad's phrase was: "If you can't make it fresh, don't serve it! In the early 90′s,Anthony opened up his first Italian restaurant in Clear Lake, Texas, called "Anthony's Pizzeria." Anthony's goal was to bring the real New York-style pizza down to the Texas marketplace.

He knew that great New York-style pizza could be made anywhere by using quality ingredients, his family recipes, and a whole lot of passion.

Using his culinary experience, Anthony was able to blend the simplicity of the pizzeria with the freshness of the upscale Italian restaurant. It was at this time that the New York Pizzeria concept started to materialize. Anthony's was able to serve high-quality food while providing a quick and casual dining experience.

Why Our Franchise?
All across the globe, the fast-casual dining concept has really caught fire, and Russo's owns a unique slice of it. Today, according to the food-service consulting firm Technomic, the fast-casual industry accounts for $45 billion in U. S. sales. Consumers have a serious interest in high-quality food these days, and we take that interest very seriously.

Russo's caters to a more professional class, in every sense of the word. People who eat out often are very aware of the choices that are out there, and we offer them an affordable luxury – a very special cuisine based on unpretentious excellence.

The world's eating habits are changing, and we're helping that happen in a healthy, appetizing way. In keeping with modern tastes, there's a wine bar, a gluten-free menu, a source for our ingredients and a trained chef in the kitchen. Italians are famously emotional about their cooking, and that feeling is what makes pizza so beloved. Pizza is a social food, meant to be shared and exclaimed over, and enjoyed with a sense of occasion. Russo's is constantly widening its horizons, reaching into the past and toward the future. Our dynamic domestic market has broadened into an international market with more than 48 locations currently operating and 35 in development around the world as our business grows by leaps and bounds.
