UNITS Moving and Portable Storage is locally owned and operated by 20 year residents of the East Bay area. Moving or remodeling is stressful enough, so we do everything we can to make it easier! We have lived here a long time and plan on staying, so it's important that our neighbors and community involvement exhibit us truly as local owners who care!

At UNITS Mobile Storage we are proud of the innovations in mobile and portable storage we provide for you. Containers from UNITS Mobile Storage are the efficient and affordable moving and self-storage alternative to storage facilities and moving companies. Our portable storage containers take the hassle and worry out of your move.

The Ideal candidate for UNITS® Moving and portable storage is someone who has or has held a corporate job and desires to build a large overall asset through tangible assets/real estate. Our great performers have strong leadership and great people skills. Our most successful franchise partners have a management background with an understanding of sales and marketing. Our minimum net worth requirement is approximately $1M with $300K in liquidity. Our franchise models are easily financed through preferred vendor programs as well.

Our goal is to ensure that each franchisee can properly execute our business model without hesitation and continue down the path of perpetual growth.

Pre Opening Training & Support
Hit the ground running and find your path to success. UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage provides each franchise with our proprietary Critical Path Tracker that will help you plan and organize your daily action items leading up to the Grand Opening. UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage will also assign ongoing corporate mentors to help plan and guide the implementation of daily best practice systems insuring your franchise operations stays on a charted, prosperous course.

UNITS® Franchise Training: Boot Camp
Boot Camp is an opportunity for owners and employees to learn the daily operations and key methods that have served UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage franchisees for years. The 3-day event starts on a Tuesday at our corporate office and concludes on Thursday with graduation ceremonies at our facility on Johns Island, SC.

Post-Training & Support
Leading up to your Grand Opening and beyond, UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage will be there to support and help your team each step of the way. Our comprehensive approach to help each franchise manage their business consist of:
  • Biweekly Operation Support Calls
  • Monthly Franchise Conference Calls
  • National & Regional Meetings/Convention
