Best Omelettes on the Planet.

Overview
In 1974, a tiny kitchen started selling omelettes to locals and tourists in historic Truckee California. At just 10 feet, 3 inches wide, and with only 39 seats, guests would literally have to squeeze in to enjoy their breakfast at the little restaurant.

As the list of omelette options grew, so did the popularity of the restaurant, and by the mid 80s it was considered a true Truckee institution. Gary and Misty Young, who lived in Reno, would often drive their daughters, Kay and Shila, to dine at the Squeeze In on special occasions. Through their childhood the girls would regularly hear their parents speak of their ultimate dream to one day own the Squeeze In.

Additionals
In 2007 preparation for expansion, we brought on partners, Shila and Chad Morris, our daughter and son-in-law. Shila and Chad had been working in the family business while attending college. Now President Shila and Vice President Chad are the managing partners of all five Squeeze In family-owned restaurant locations, as well as our family's management company and franchise. They're amazing leaders in their own right, both holding foodservice and hospitality certificates from Cornell University in addition to their undergrad and, for Shila, her graduate degree as well.

This truly is a family business. The newest Squeeze In partner is youngest daughter, Kay Salerno, President of YoungSocial, a digital marketing firm. Shila, Kay and Misty are all verified leadership experts, having earned international certification from The John Maxwell Team and working closely with John Maxwell and his faculty over the last several years.

Why Our Franchise?
We'll be with you every step of the way. Our multi-media franchise brand partner training platform will introduce you to how we do business: with structured systems and accountability built right in.

We'll help you identify a great location, support you in your lease negotiations, help with design and layout, construction, signage, equipment ordering and installation, associate selection and training and, of course, creating a fabulous grand opening to help you launch your new restaurant successfully!

As a Squeeze In franchise brand partner, you're in business for yourself, but not by yourself! You'll be trained in all aspects of doing business successfully at the Squeeze In. Everything from guest and associate relations to leadership, operations, financials, products/services, marketing, inventory, maintenance, community service, making money, and more.

Squeeze In brand partners complete a full week of classroom sessions and hands on in-the-restaurant training at our campus in Reno, Nevada. Of course, you always have access to our solid multi-media training platform to back you up in every way. You'll receive training for up to three people (including the franchisee) before you begin operations and ongoing training programs during the term of your franchise.

our support begins the moment you become a franchise brand partner, and continues throughout your business relationship with us. Your success is our success. We work with our franchise brand partners continually to assure you're operating with highest level of efficiency and profitability.

We provide ongoing research, supervision, training, product support, and continued leadership development. We are available to answer your questions and will visit your store regularly to help you build a strong, profitable business!
