After working her way up from staff attorney to General Counsel of several franchise companies and then merged out her legal franchise attorney job, in 2004 she began focusing her efforts on paying it forward to mentor others to find the right franchises. Serving as General Counsel for several brokerage networks and working as franchise consultant/broker from 2006-2011, she was frustrated by the constraints of only being able to work with certain franchise concepts when her clients really might have better suited options outside of the network. Thus, in 2014, Lori and her co-founder launched FranBrokers Consortium, an invitation only network of many experienced franchise brokers who are dedicated to best practices in the industry of helping individuals find the right franchise match. What sets FranBrokers apart is that FranBrokers are not limited to a set "inventory" of companies but each broker may independently research and work with any franchise company on behalf of their clients.
She also has written a Manual on FranMaster4u that provides advance training to other franchise consultants. Today, she individually trains and advises other franchise consultants upon request.
